Megan Gerber is a REALTOR whose main goal is assisting clients. A specialist in working with first-time and sight-unseen homebuyers, she started her real estate career nine years ago as a way to give back to others. She works with sellers, buyers, investors, and all who need honest real estate guidance and assistance.
“I enjoy working with people,” she says. “I wanted a career that not only helped others but was flexible with my needs as a mother. Real estate is rewarding, because you are constantly learning and at the same time helping people reach their goals.”
Gerber owned her own real estate business and in the past worked in retail management on a senior level. Now, she uses the customer service skills obtained through those endeavors to benefit clients at Coldwell Banker Advantage.
Foremost, she understands the stress presented to those navigating the stressful world of real estate.
“I always enjoyed real estate but had a bad experience with purchasing my first home, and I knew I could really help people so they wouldn't experience what we did,” Gerber said. “I love meeting new people. I like educating people so they feel empowered by the knowledge of the process.”
Being a Realtor also allows her to spend adequate time with her daughter, another one of the main reasons she chose the demanding, yet flexible career.
She brings honesty and integrity to clients seeking expert advice on buying or selling a home.
“I feel someone should choose me as their REALTOR because I am honest, knowledgeable and great to work with,” she says. “I will educate them during the process, so they are not unsure or confused. I will make it an enjoyable experience but be firm when I need to be.”
When she’s not working, she enjoys visiting softball fields to watch her daughter play travel ball. She’s an active volunteer with the homeless in Fayetteville. She regularly assists the less fortunate with lunches, job resources, networking and providing basic essentials.
